The South Eastern European Mediation Forum (SEEMF) as regional network of mediators that supports and advocates the development of mediation in South Eastern Europe – the former Yugoslavia and Albania, was founded in Sarajevo, 2005 and was formally registered in Podgorica, May 2011. SEEMF is working on professionalizing the use of mediation in the region.
