Operational grants can support long-term capacity and commitment of civil society actors in advocacy, monitoring and lobbying for structural reforms relevant to the accession process while giving their constituencies a voice and influencing policies through evidence based programmes, analysis, monitoring and concrete advocacy initiatives.

The current Call for Proposals seeks to establish framework partnerships with CSOs working in the following five priority sectors in the relevant areas defined solely for the purpose of this Call for Proposals:

  • Priority sector I – Anti-discrimination, diversity and social inclusion
  • Priority sector II – Justice
  • Priority sector III – Environment and Climate Action (Green Agenda)
  • Priority sector IV – Foreign, security and defence policy
  • Priority sector V – Good governance
