We are please invite you to a consultation and validation session for the Second Assessment against the DG NEAR Guidelines for EU Support to Civil Society in the Enlargement region for 2023.
This second assessment aims to assess the situation against the Guidelines for 2023 and to compare it with the baseline situation for 2021. This assessment and comparison will provide essential information on how civil society is changing in our region. The assessment findings will feed into the annual EU reporting process on progress towards EU integration and eventual EU membership.
Seven consultation sessions are being organised, one for each IPA Beneficiary in the region. All sessions will be held online. The sessions will be in English, with simultaneous interpretation in the local language(s) available.
The sessions present the main findings of the country-level reports. The reports are based on research conducted in early 2024, including major surveys of civil society organisations and public authorities, a legal analysis, and focus group discussions.
