As part of the mandate to review and provide monitoring under the EU Civil Society Guidelines for the needs of the DG NEAR, EU TACSO 3 project is currently undertaking the EU Civil Society Guidelines 2020 Annual Assessment. The research for 2020 is implemented by the Balkan Civil Society Development Network (BCSDN).
One of the most important data-gathering elements is the survey with CSOs. This survey aims to monitor the enabling environment and assess the capacities of CSOs in the entire Enlargement region. The findings of this survey will be analyzed together with other data gathered through focus groups, interviews, desktop research etc. and presented in a report that will be made publicly available by EU TACSO 3. The data collected with this survey are confidential and will be used on strictly anonymous basis. Individual responses will not be connected to the particular organization and will be reported in an aggregate way only along with the responses of other survey participants.
Since BCSDN has already finalized a survey on enabling environment in beginning of 2020 in all Western Balkans countries, the surveys for the six countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia) are focused on CSOs capacities. For Turkey, a full survey is available to answer. It takes approximately 15 minutes (30 minutes for Turkey) to complete the survey. Bellow are the links to the individual country surveys:
