EU Launches New Call for Proposals to Support Civil Society in Albania

The European Union has launched a new call for proposals to support civil society organisations (CSOs) in Albania as part of its ongoing commitment to democratic development and Albania’s EU accession process.

The call, titled “Support to Civil Society Organisations in Albania in the field of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion, Good Governance, Justice, Freedom and Security and Gender Equality and Gender Based Violence”, aims to strengthen the role of CSOs working in key areas vital to the rule of law and social inclusion.

Through this funding opportunity, the EU seeks to support initiatives that:

  • Advance diversity, equality and inclusion;

  • Promote good governance and combat corruption;

  • Strengthen justice, freedom, and security, including the re-use of confiscated assets;

  • Ensure gender equality and combat gender-based violence.

This call represents a significant opportunity for CSOs in Albania to engage in transformative action that reinforces fundamental rights and democratic values.

An online information session will be held on 18 July 2025 at 14:30 CET. Interested organisations may register by emailing Delegation-Albania-Tenders@eeas.europa.eu no later than 15 July 2025. The email should include the name, surname, nationality, email address, and organisation of each participant (up to two participants per organisation).
