Through the Policy Forum for Development (PFD), the Directorate for International Cooperation and Development (DEVCO) has launched a civil society consultation related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Agenda 2030, enabling environment, multi-stakeholder partnerships and the EU’s response to coronavirus/COVID-19.

The Policy Forum on Development (PFD) was established by the European Commission in November 2013, following the Structured Dialogue for an effective partnership in development, a process involving more than 700 civil society organizations (CSOs) and local authorities (LAs) with the aim of improving the effectiveness of EU development cooperation.

It has been almost seven years since the PFD was institutionalized and five years since the 2030 Agenda was agreed. With the appointment of a new European Commission and the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF), the PDF has opened a consultation for CSOs to reflect on the new framework and share their experience and ideas on how their priorities and work is to be reflected in the new framework.

The consultation is open till Monday, 4 May, 2020 and is available at the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SKYPN5Q
