TACSO BiH provided technical assistance in organising series of five events in four BiH towns: Banja Luka, Sarajevo, Tuzla and Mostar, dedicated to capacities of using Europe for Citizens Programme.
In the first part of the series of events, the BiH Ministry of Justice and Directorate for European Integration of the BiH Council of Ministers in cooperation with Project Support to the BiH Government for the European Integration Process and EU Assistance Coordination – phase III, including the TACSO Project – BiH Office, in November 2011 organised info day in Banja Luka and workshop in Sarajevo.
Continuing the series and organizing the presentation of the Programme, with timely preparation of civil society organisations and local self-governments (municipalities) for project planning at the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the BiH Ministry of Justice and TACSO Project – BiH Office, in December 2011, organised info days and workshops in Brcko and Mostar, and as the final event – a workshop in Banja Luka.
Of the total 317 participants (including media representatives) at all five events, 245 were representatives of civil society organizations and 50 representatives of local governments, Brcko District Government, entity ministries, Delegation of the EU to BiH and guests from BiH and neighbouring countries.
The schedule of planned activities representing the result of already organized presentations of the Programme was also agreed.
