The Federation of Caucasian Associations (KAFFED) organized local meetings to strengthen their advocacy campaign and monitoring of the inclusion of the demands submitted to Parliamentary Compromise Commission for New Constitution by Caucasian Communities. KAFFED met with its constituencies with the support of 61 local member CSOs and shared the details of advocacy campaign via  “Constitution Meetings”.

These meetings were organized in Kayseri, Adana, Kahramanmaraş, Tokat, Samsun, Turhal, Sungurlu, Çorum, Hamamözü, Merzifon and İzmir with the technical assistance of TACSO under the “support for CSOs working on the constitutional process”.

The meetings had a high participation of community members and CSOs. KAFFED presented its work undertaken in relation to the constitutional process, shared their advocacy campaign focusing on community involvement in monitoring the inclusion Circassian Communities’ demands. KAFFED team also visited local CSO Offices.
