Despite the restrictive measures, EU TACSO 3 project team is working in full capacity remotely, utilising all available online communication tools to continue implementation of planned project activities. Moreover, in the coming period, the project will launch different communication, capacity-development, exchange etc. activities to help civil society in the Western Balkans and Turkey cope with the situation. These will include: sharing of information on available online tools and organise on-line trainings on how CSOs can use these to continue their activities, develop useful manuals and guidelines, move some of its planned capacity-development activities online, organise additional trainings and exchange on emergency and crisis response, and if needed, facilitate consultation process for EU calls through use of on-line tools. By doing so, the project aims to contribute to help CSOs carry out their missions and continue to serve their communities, constituents and beneficiaries, people in need, vulnerable groups and others, where the situation for many is continuing to deteriorate and their presence is imperative.
At the same time, we would like to draw attention to their work and tell their story about the work CSOs are doing, adapting to the situation in assisting the communities, the vulnerable groups, the homeless, immigrants, document their challenges and difficulties. For this, a call will be launched soon on the project’s website.
