Civil Society Resource Centre

The National Civil Society Development Foundation-Civic Resource Centre (CRC), in partnership with the Association for Democratic Initiatives (ADI), the Association for Citizens Media Plus (Stip), and the Macedonian Centre for International Cooperation (MCIC) as an affiliate.

To empower the civil society to actively take part in decision making and to contribute to a strengthened participatory democracy in the country. To provide services for building the capacities of CSOs, to be effective and accountable independent actors and to contribute to the environment that is conducive to civil society.

Providing capacity development support for CSOs through online courses, training, workshops, mentoring, and follow-up support; timely information on legislation changes, funding opportunities, capacity building, etc.; Small action grants for local organizations; organizing debates, info sessions, consultations, visits of the mobile resource centre to different towns etc. updating the website with CSO resource materials, databases, and other information; drafting reports on the state of civil society and the enabling environment for CSOs; monitoring CSO advocacy actions; and establishing resource centres or antenna contact points in all country regions to ensure support for local CSOs.
